From August 25 to 28, the State Intellectual Property Office's 2020 training course on improving intellectual property capacity was successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Relevant responsible comrades of the intellectual property protection department of the State Intellectual Property Office and relevant leaders of Yunnan Intellectual Property Office and Intellectual Property Publishing House attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

At the opening ceremony of the class, the responsible comrades of the intellectual property protection department stressed the importance of implementing the measures of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights, introduced the main contents of trademark administrative protection and the new progress of intellectual property law enforcement and protection after the institutional reform of the State Intellectual Property Office, and put forward requirements for the next step of trademark patent law enforcement and protection. The training course is the first special training course on trademark protection held by the State Intellectual Property Office after the formulation and printing of the judgment standard of trademark infringement. Focusing on the key and difficult problems of infringement judgment involved in trademark law enforcement and protection, the training systematically explained the legal system of trademark administrative protection in China, the interpretation of the judgment standard of trademark infringement and the analysis of typical cases, the judgment of similar trademarks, the judgment of trademark infringement and the judgment of trademark infringement Similar goods judgment, collective and certification trademark protection, geographical indication protection, etc.

More than 100 trainees from 8 provinces, autonomous regions and cities participated in the training. The trainees generally reflected that the training was very necessary and timely. Through systematic study, they improved their understanding of the judgment standard of trademark infringement, and enhanced their confidence and determination to do a good job in trademark administrative protection. In the next step, the State Intellectual Property Office will also hold three national training courses to enhance the ability of intellectual property protection within this year, so as to continuously promote the capacity-building of the law enforcement and protection team of the whole system.
