Optimize the online service function, and actively support the resumption of work and production. The first International Registration Office focuses on guiding domestic applicants to handle business online, and successively launch follow-up business functions such as renewal of Madrid international trademark registration and appointment of agent. From January to June, the Trademark Office received 3875 applications for Madrid international registration submitted by domestic applicants, a year-on-year increase of 36%, and the proportion of online applications reached 93.5%. Actively overcome the difficulties of international postal service interruption, timely release the "instructions on matters related to online application for Madrid trademark international registration during the epidemic period" on China Trademark website, actively increase the workload, scan the paper application forms of domestic applicants and send them to the International Bureau electronically, so as to protect the rights of domestic applicants from the epidemic to the maximum extent. In the first half of the year, the Trademark Office completed 4009 business reviews for international registration, with a review cycle of two months.
We should keep abreast of the time limit and protect Chinese and foreign applicants equally. Madrid's territorial extension has always been consistent with the goal of reducing the domestic trial limit. The second and third international registration offices actively overcome the impact of the epidemic, scientifically predict the number of applications, evaluate the examination ability, reasonably allocate the examination and signature strength, pay attention to giving play to the exemplary leading role of leading cadres, increase the work intensity and improve the work efficiency.
